How to reach the institute
Meeting location (google maps)
The campus "Complexe Scientifique de Rangueil" can be conveniently reached from the Toulouse city centre by subway (métro), followed by a small trip on bus or a 15-20 min walk. The following map shows the campus, including the subway stop "Faculté de Pharmacie" and the locations where the meeting takes place: CIAS, IRAP-Roche, IRAP-Belin, CESBIO and LAAS.
Taxi
If you want to go directly from the Airport to the meeting, the most convenient transportation method is Taxi.
Airport shuttle
If you prefer public transport you can use the shuttle bus which connects the airport to the centre of Toulouse. The shuttle bus is operated by Tisseo. For more information please visit http://www.tisseo.fr/sites/default/files/Tisseo_hivAeroportweb.pdf. Below a plan of the shuttle bus route. There are three stops at the city centre ("Compans Caffarelli", "Jeanne d'Arc", and "Jean Jaurès") and one stop at the main railway station ("Gare Routière"). Choose the one which is closest to your hotel. The stops "Compans Caffarelli", "Jeanne d'Arc", and "Jean Jaurès" also directly connect to the subway (métro) line B, which brings you to campus. The airport shuttle bus tickets costs 5 € and allows you to use also the subway and bus for a period of 1h30 (3 changes maximum).
From the city centre to campus (CTA meeting)
Subway (métro) - Line B goes to the campus (yellow line). Below a plan of the two subway lines of Toulouse.
Take direction to "Ramonville" and stop at "Faculté de Pharmacie" and then either walk (15-20 min) or take one the following buses (you can even rent a bicyle at the subway exit which you can drop near the meeting sites, provided that some free bicycle slots remain at destination; if there is no more free slot upon arrival you have to bike back and either walk or take the bus).
Bus 68 - take direction towards "Lespinet Struxiano" and stop at "LAAS" for IRAP-Roche, CESBIO and LAAS or at "CNES FIAS" for CIAS and IRAP-Belin.
Bus 51 - take direction towards "Balma Gramont" and stop at "LAAS" for IRAP-Roche, CESBIO and LAAS or at "ENAC" for CIAS and IRAP-Belin.
Bus 108 - take direction towards "St. Orens Lycée" and stop at "LAAS" for IRAP-Roche, CESBIO and LAAS or at "ENAC" for CIAS and IRAP-Belin.
You can use the same ticket for subway and bus, and you may change from subway to bus (and vice versa) for a period 1 hour (3 changes maximum). One trip costs 1.50 €. For the entire week it may be more convenient to take a 10-trips ticket ("10 déplacements") which costs 12.50 €, hence you save a little bit of money on each trip. You may also share the 10-trips ticket among a group, but if you are a group it may be cheaper to use the "Ticket Tribu" which costs 5 € and allows for a maximum of 12 trips for a group during one day (so if you are 6 you can go forth and back together during one day for only 5 €).
